Suslik (Lamb)
250g lamb suslik recipe:
Cut 250g of boneless lamb into cubes and place them in a bowl. Add one small sliced onion, one minced garlic clove, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice. Season with ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, and, if desired, ½ teaspoon of paprika or chili flakes and ¼ teaspoon of cumin. Mix everything well, cover, and let it marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the fridge for best flavor.
Once marinated, thread the lamb with onion and pepper onto skewers and grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for about 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through. Serve hot with rice, flatbread, or grilled vegetables.
